Pressure washing in Sonoma
Sonoma is home. The valley floor from Schellville up through Glen Ellen and Kenwood is where most of our week is spent, which is the practical reason it carries no travel fee — we are already here.
Travel to Sonoma
Sonoma sits in our free zone, along with Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Boyes Hot Springs, El Verano, and Eldridge. There is no travel fee on any job in those towns, regardless of size.

What we run into in Sonoma
Older housing stock, and paint that has to survive the wash
A lot of the valley is pre-war board-and-batten, clapboard, and stucco, often with paint that is thinner than it looks. That is a soft wash job — low pressure and the right surfactant — not a pressure washer. Getting this wrong strips paint and raises wood grain, and it is the single most common form of damage we are called in to look at after someone else has been out.
Shade from mature oaks keeps walls damp
Valley oaks and the tree canopy through Glen Ellen and Kenwood mean north and east walls stay damp long after the rest of the house has dried. Damp shaded walls are where mildew and algae establish first, so on most valley homes the shaded elevations need attention well before the sunny ones look like they need anything.
Wineries and tasting rooms on a different schedule
Tasting room frontage and crush pads are priced on our commercial card and scheduled around your hours rather than ours. Harvest is the right time to clean a crush pad, not the wrong one — routine between-lot cleaning while the pad is still wet is the cheapest rate we publish.
Most common problems here
Moss & Algae
Shaded valley driveways and north walls, especially under oak canopy.
Mildew & Mold
The dark streaking that shows up on stucco and painted siding first.
Wildfire Soot & Ash
The fine grey residue left on exteriors after a fire moves through the valley.
Efflorescence
Chalky white deposits on the older brick and stone around the plaza.

Questions from Sonoma customers
- Is there really no travel fee in Sonoma?
- Correct. Sonoma, Glen Ellen, Kenwood, Boyes Hot Springs, El Verano, and Eldridge are all in our free zone, so no travel line appears on the quote at all. Schellville is the one nearby exception — it falls into Zone 1.
- What does a house wash cost in Sonoma?
- A single-story home up to 1,500 square feet of footprint starts at $325. Every job carries a $225 service minimum. Because there is no travel fee here, the published rate is the whole number.
- Do you work on historic homes?
- Yes, and they are the reason we lead with soft washing rather than pressure. Low pressure and the correct cleaning solution do the work on old paint, cedar shake, and lime-based stucco. We will tell you on the walkthrough if a surface should be left alone.
- Can you clean a tasting room and the house on one visit?
- If they are on the same property, yes, and grouping surfaces into one visit is almost always cheaper than booking them separately. Booking a driveway, house wash, and deck together takes 10% off the work subtotal.
